Just saw the trailer for this film today.....just wondering if anyone was or wasn't looking forward to this film, and why or why not.

Personally I thought Rob Zombie's remake of HALLOWEEN was abysmal....the idea seeming to be "let's take everything that made the original so good and chuck it out the window", so I don't have high hopes for this one.

However, I'm a completist, so being a HALLOWEEN fan I'll probably check it out.....I also had the chance to be an extra in this film, so I'm curious to see if I'm actually IN it!

And please, let's don't turn this into another tired "horror movies are EVIL!" thread.....just discuss the film on it's own merits...

But horror movies are evil.

So is this Halloween II a remake of the first Halloween II? Or is it just a different Halloween II? If so, there will now be 2 Halloween IIs? (ARGHHH!!!!... my head hurts!)

There are some hospital scenes, but it is intended to be a sequel to Rob Zombie's remake, not a remake of 1981's HALLOWEEN II.

Does that clear it up?

i'm also a huge Halloween fan, and wasn't too impressed with Rob Zombie's remake. However, I'm excited to see this sequel for one reason: Weird Al Yankovic!
