Hello everyone, looking for tips, or advice! Anyway...I'm out of a job, can't draw unemployment, and I can't get a job where I live because no one will hire me. (at the time I suffered from depression, and got myself fired from a couple jobs) All the money that I did have went to bills, etc.. and now I basically have nothing in my name. There are a couple jobs that want to hire me out of state, they looked at my resume, etc.. and I want to go. I only have 50 dollars. Is there anything I can do to triple my money? that way I have gas money there and back, or should I tell the jobs no, I can't make it?? What would you do if you were in my situation? These are high paying jobs, 12-16 dollars/hour starting.

One word... Greyhound. (Or is that two words?) If you stick where you are another week or two, you'll use up that $50 anyways. Use it now to get yourself where the work is... and stay there.

Is there anybody you can go to in order to borrow some money for the time being? Greyhound sounds like a good word

Do you have anything that you could sell? Consider antiques, musical instruments, sports equipment, tools, Music records or CDs, jewelry, stereo equipment, furniture, DVD machine, movies, or books. Your best bet is to sell to a store that specializes in the item you have. Sell your antiques to an antique store, instruments to a musical instrument store, jewelry to a jewelry store, music CDs to a store that sells used CDs. Other items can be sold on Craigslist or to a pawn shop. Sell just about everything except what will fit in your car and go take the highest paying job. Do NOT turn down a written offer of employment. Peace, Anne

I've removed the discussion about the spam advertiser. Don't forget to report these people! It helps us quite a bit. Thanks! Kath
