Is it me or is there something wrong with this picture? Doesn't the Bible forbid women to teach and they are to be silent in church? Please correct me if I am wrong but how does Joyce Meyer having a show in which it seems she has her own church biblical? As a woman, I would not feel condemned to share a testimony in front of the church, or to speak if I was asked to speak, but according to the Bible in Timothy it is pretty clear- they are not instructed to "teach" the man will have authority over them etc.....so unless you are asked to speak, I don't understand. I am sure the women's movement loves this but it isn't biblical at all. I get frustrated when people say "well BACK in that time...today wer are living in totally different times"- show me in the Bible please where God ever states- "all these laws apply, but are subject to change as society changes?"
