Hiya! I've been wanting to spread the word of God to others but I need help. Where do you start? And what do you say to an Atheist? I find it really hard to talk about my beliefs when they keep shooting it down with science and how can I counter that? In no way do I force my religion on them, but I want to share it and I feel guilty or like a failure when they walk away still not knowing God's greatness! He gives me these chances but I mess up. I just don't know what to say. Do you have any verses on God's great love or advice? I'm really young so I'm unable to become a missionary or something. I don't know where this should go, but I figured if I was going to post this anywhere it should be where the experienced believers come and I can learn from them.

Just speak of your personal experience, what God means to you and what He's done for you. Study your scripture. Above all, pray and follow the Spirit's guidance on what to say and when to say it.

You might want to check out the site str.org [Stand to Reason]. They have a curriculum called the Ambassador's Curriculum that is beyond excellent at helping a person communicate in a non-aggressive way with people from any background. They also have a lot of free articles and a stream to their radio show.

God understands our eagerness to share, but we must also be aware of His Spirit moving both in our own lives and in the opportunities that He presents us with. My advice is for you to chill, let go, don't be so intense. If you belong to the Lord, then He will work through you in His own time and way. Often He wants us to become more rooted in Him first, and this takes time for us all. Remember that you are His child first, before His servant. Let Him take you by the hand and lead you in the way you should go. Surround yourself with godly mature Christians in a settled well balanced situation. Learn and grow in God's time, and be open to Him speaking through His word, and those who belong to Him.
