Question ~ If I have Dd do Easy Grammar, Vocab/Spelling, & possibly Writing Strands, what would you consider this as a credit for? Would it all fall under the Writing Class? Or would you seperate the Grammar/Vocab & Spelling and put it under something else? These classes don't take very much time during the day...so would it be better to count it as a 1/2 credit?

I'd count it as English. I would also count it as one credit for the year.

Actually, your high school English for one credit would consist of Grammar, Writing, and Literature. If you do Spelling everyday, you could consider it as one credit of Etymology.

She will be having literature through Notgrass American History, which is 1 credit in each of History, American Lit. and Bible. There is writing involved in that, too... but I'm not sure how much I'll require of that and do Writing Strands instead (haven't looked over the books yet). I'm mostly wondering where to put Easy Grammar and Vocab, which we use for spelling, too.

the grammar should be put under language arts or English grammar. It should be 1 credit (even if it is easy....).....
