I saw a small preview for this one, got interested, saw a poster at the theater and got MORE interested, then saw an exlusive look during G4's Comic-Con coverage a few days ago...
Themes of immigration, apartheid, and racism, produced by Peter Jackson, all in a package that includes aliens and lots of battles and explosions? Sign me up!
The gist is that dilapidated ships of refugee aliens arrives in South Africa, full of destitute aliens who are basically segregated, enslaved, and put to work. The film utilizes actual stock footage of race riots with aliens edited in.

This looks like it could be one of the surprises of the summer. Great plot, good trailer, interesting themes. Depending on Rotten Tomatoes, I will see this in theaters.

It looks like an artsy Transformers. I think it could be a sleeper hit. I think I'd like this better than Transformers.

It's getting really great reviews so far -many by usually tough critics.
I can't wait to see it (I'll hopefully get to go Friday).
