Status: offline 		I've heard some analysts today claim that this man's (Mehsud's) now-former presence in the operations for the Taliban and other radical organizations like it was as great as Bin Laden's for Al Qaeda (if the latter is still alive himself).

So this seems like a big score for our side.

It's a great victory. But I would hesitate to say it's crippling.

Agreed, Cow - considering this guy will likely be replaced before the weekend is out.

But still, if the Taliban wants to keep putting these leaders up, I'm more than happy to see us knocking them back down one by one.

I have no problem saying this is a success for Obama. To his credit, he has maintained and defended a number of the Bush era protections.
