Having begun this thread, I feel it only fair to explain my absence for so long. I have just returned from a short-term mission trip with others to a country in East Asia, where I have really had my eyes opened on many levels including our beloved (but badly) mis-represented Christmas. So, by God's grace, and not by human persuasion I am learning to appreciate the deep rooted and fundemental Christmas message in the western culture, no matter how badly it has been distorted by commercialism and secularism etc.
