My hair drives me nuts when one side likes to flip out, (curl out at the bottom) and the other side likes to curl under. It makes no difference if I blow dry it or not. Any solutions?
How does your hair drive you nuts?

When it refuses to hold a curl in humid weather.
I don't need any styling product in Colorado and it looks nice all day long. Here in Maryland I can use mousse and hairspray and it hold a curl for about 30 seconds.

When I got my hair cut short I had one side that would flip out and one side that would flip in.... and at that time I wanted it to Flip out So I had to use one those roll brushes when I dried it and also used some spray gel and different hair products to help. Eventually it started doing that on its own.

Mine does the stick out on one side thing, except it doesn't do it until the middle of the day, so at lunch time I get a surprise when I look in the mirror. There is no fixing it, drying it doesn't help, gel just makes the part sticking out more noticeable, and I'm on the verge of shaving it all off, because at least then it will all stick out the same way.

Have you ever spoken to a hairdresser about it? I don't use gel... I use a smoothing creme. It works wonders ~ and is used on dry hair.

My hair drives me nuts when I can't get it to look like the lady at the salon did. . . and I only got it cut two days ago!!! She didn't do anything but use a hair dryer and it looked so much better, it was like magic lol. I need to get the "stuff" she put in my hair, some kind of volume mousse or some other thing that cost a fortune, I'm sure. . .but I'm sure I will pay for it however much it costs lol!

It's worth asking what they use and then looking for similar products in a store ~ it generally works out much cheaper...

I've actually gone back to the girl who cuts my hair and asked her to "fix" it just for one evening or some other occasion. She works wonders with styling this mop!
I offered to let her stay in our guest room, but her husband didn't like that idea.

It can manage to be greasy and dry at the same time. Ugh.

I love my current stylist, because he listened when I told him I was styling impaired and needed a style a chimpanzee could do, LOL!

My hair is thick and pin straight.
It's too heavy to hold a curl.
I sleek it back in a pony tail, french braid or twist.
There is the old stand-by--let it hang straight.
You have work with what the good Lord gave ya'.

I HATE the humidity. My hair will hold a curl for 2 seconds and then BLAM back to being flat and also feeling limp and gross...grr - - -I wish there were a solution!
