I wish I could lay on a beach, holding an iced tea, while a nice looking guy fans me with one of those huge leaf-looking fans.

POOF! Now who is the Utah Jazz? I've never heard of them, so my poofer goes a little wild trying to find them. It settles on a tiny unknown musical group in Utah competing in a jazz festival. They are very happy that you made that wish.
I wish that when I came back from vacation I hadn't discovered that a co-worker has been fired pending the outcome of an investigation.

Poof! It's spring. Perpetually. It rains a lot. And it never quite gets warm enough to go swimming.

poof...you now have a magic computer. just scan in the questions and it goes to the net, finds the answers and fills them in. your computer is so smart it gets a college scholarship. of course, you flunk high school because you never learned all that stuff.
I wish I had something fun and exciting to do today which didn't involve cleaning the bathroom and cat puke (which are my current plans)

I wish my skin wasn't so dry in the winter...I'm always having to use lotion or my skin is itchy, dry and generally uncomfortable.

POOF! You have been liberated from the difficult taskmaster, your substitute Bible Study leader. You won't be doing any more of the Bible Studies until next month, when the regular leader is back, because now you are in jail for 30 days for poofing other people on Crosswalk into jail.

Well, since I already poofed you into jail, I guess the jail cooks will cook your Sunday Dinner. That's someone else.
I wish I liked cheese. It's part of so many get-togethers, and cooked into so many different kinds of recipes, and everyone else in the world seems to just love it. But I have such a sweet tooth that the only way I like cheese is in cheesecake.
