There was a couple of threads in here not all too long ago with many suggestions for earning income from home. I was wondering if anybody tried anything suggested and what were the results?

I have been with the company in my signature line since 05 and average about 300.00 a month in extra income. My candle season has begun again and I'm turning in orders for about 200.00 today. That's just from 3 days out this week and spending 4 hours total for all 3 days. It costs nothing to look at my site and see if it would fit what you are looking for. Connie Lou

I looked into your website, but the monthly fee worries me, to be quite honest. I tried Mary Kay, but have had a hard time meeting the $200 whole sale orders every 3 months =/ Most of the time I would get $100 whole sale order, and the money I was supposed to be able to pocket I had to purchase more to get my sales up. (That's a little dramatic, but I never made very much from it)

I have been working from home with the company called It Works since the end of June and it is really keeping me busy. So, far I have nothing bad to say about them. There is alot of information on my website that you can read www.sassispasecrets.itworks.net Teresa

Earning money at home is a bit difficult. I would first asses what your skills are. For example, if you are a good guitar player then I would think of ways I could make money from this.. such as giving guitar lessons out of the home.

Sounds interesting, but where I live, and the people I know, they have pretty much already made nobody want to go to home parties anymore considering all the invites I have had in the last two years. I honestly believe that is pretty old around here. My husbands niece had absolutley nobody show up for hers. I know one could get a little more creative than that tho. My sister used to make soy candles and sell them at events like flea markets, she did fairly well. It is definetly for those who like to burn candles because they dont plug up house filters.

(That's a little dramatic, but I never made very much from it) SaraChristine, I understand what you are saying. $50.00 a month is hard to come up with. Since I am in business for myself, I can use the 50 a month as a write off on my taxes. I've had my own at home business since '96. If you'd like more information, just email me and I can answer any of your questions and I'll be brutally honest. That goes out to anyone here. Some of my sales come from being out locally, some come from the Internet. My company gives me a website which is included in my monthly cost. Thanks for answering. Connie Lou

Pamsy, I do my candle shows at local craft fairs, church fairs, anything where they ask for vendors. I also have a booth at a local flea market where I sell my candles on weekends when I want. There are people who buy the candles from the universities here. They use the melts or tarts as they are called to be placed in a container on a candle warmer where there's no flame involved. As I stated before email and I'll answer all questions. Thanks again! Connie Lou
