This post is going to have to require some transperancy. What i would like to discuss is the following?
How do you treat everyone you come in contact with?
In your own words, how are you supposed to treat everyone you come in contact with?
Can you share some personal examples of how your interaction with others has been either beneficial or condeming?

I am fortunate to be a morning person. Each morning is a clean slate (assuming the previous day was not a total disaster).

I try to always shows a fresh outlook on my face each morning. This goes to your question because this is the way I treat the people I know and meet.

So I suppose it could be argued that I don't show my real self to people.. I say hogwash. You don't need to know all my troubles and shortcomings, no. All you need from me is a good morning and a pleasant look. Maybe this will give you encouragement in that you see me, with all my obvious ills and shortcomings, and see that I can get over it. Perhaps you can to.

(I am not writing to anyone in particular, just using 'you' generically)

I hear two different questions:
How I treat others?
How I respond to others treatment of me?

I am commanded to love and to live love. It is not always easy. Some people just irritate me. Some people are just so very wrong. But Jesus says love your enemies.

How do I do? You'd have to ask those in my midst. I'm sure some would say I don't do very well. And they are right.

I often don't know how to be compassionate. Again, Jesus told me to learn what this means, 'I desire compassion and not sacrifice.' It is hard.

I'm often silent in the midst of what I see as wrong. And sometimes when I do speak, I speak wrongly.

My desire is to live love to others. I fail.

Others treatment of me?

I probably do better with this. Love is believing the best of others. I do not want to live offended. Offense is all about me.
