Walking His Trail: Signs of God Along the Way by Steve Saint.

This is a fabulous book. I haven't finished it yet, but my wife and I are already committed to writing about our own sandcastles (aka God experiences).

Switching between:

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle (Hamlet-like fiction about a mute boy raising dogs in Northern Wisconsin)
Cloudsplitter (historical fiction about the family of John Brown)
Anathem (speculative fiction about a boy living in a Mathic (math-based) monastery where the doors open every 10 years and they can see the outside world)

I'm in a Jules Verne mood. As soon as I finish my current book, I'm starting Journey to the Center of the Earth. Hope I'm not to old to read Jules Verne.

Well I just started reading PURE by Rebecca St.James. I don't know if I like it or not gotta read some more of it.

Although I was reading Twilight book and I am almost done with it, but not sure if I will finish it because I don't really like it as much as I liked the movie.

"Thriving despite a difficult marriage" by Michael and Chuck Misja. Although this book was written for those in a difficult marriage it really applies to how we face all kinds of difficulties through out life. Quite an eye opener in revealing our hearts survival strategies in difficult times and how to learn to thrive even in the midst of difficulty. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to grow to be more Christ like.

Right now I'm in the bad habit of reading books and not finishing them. I have started As Silver Refined by Kay Arthur and The Love Dare by Stephen Kendrick.

Depends upon which movie you are referring to. If you mean the Kiera Knightley film, yes. There are a number of differences (though I cannot catalogue them, as I didn't pay much attention to it when I watched it).

If you mean the BBC, Colin Firth version, then the differences, while still present, are quite minimal.

I highly recommend the BBC version over the Hollywood-esque version.

Oh, those are all great books. If you haven't read Jane Eyre, you ought to try it sometime.

O Pioneers by Willa Cather.

Her description of the nature on the prairie evokes very romantic images to this midwesterner.
