We had to bury my cousin Pam yesterday. She was a Godly woman. A awesome mother. I'm a only child, and she was the closest thing to a big sister I'll ever have. She left behind a 16 year old daughter, a husband, mother and dad, and brother and sister. We can never know what people are fighting within themselves. For some reason Tuesday afternoon Pam pulled behind the place she worked in her vehicle. She had her bible in her lap, she put a pistol to her head and pulled the trigger. Her dad my uncle found her a few hours later. This has really got into my head. Please pray for that family. God knows who they are. It's amazing that people can get so low that they think they have no one in this world.. She thought that... If only she could have seen the hundreds of people who turned out for her funeral, and the many many comments that people are still posting on her facebook.. It scares me to death to think that satan can get into someone's life like that, and his voice is louder than our Lord's... Lift these names up please... Emily, David, Amy, Craig, Jimmy, Portia. They are hurting.. Thank you.

I will keep Emily, David, Amy, Craig, Jimmy and Portia in my prayers today.

Praying now for Emily, David, Amy, Craig, Jimmy, Portia... and you. How devastating. May God comfort and protect your family.

People become higher risk of suicide if there's been one nearby, so it would be good if everyone could see a godly counselor.

I can't imagine your pain. ((((((((HUgs))))))))))

My thoughts and prayers for you and her loved ones. Lean on Him and not on your own understanding. I know what this type of pain is like, Lord, help those left behind. Thanks be to You, Lord, for the promise of your holy spirit and your comfort. I pray that each one that hurts today turns to You. Help those hearts that are broken, Heavenly Father. In the name of our Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen

Chris,
Oct. 5 '09 made two years since my husband's brother did the same thing. I and my family know just what you are feeling.

Father,
Please bring comfort and peace to this family as they face what lies ahead. Lord, you know what each person deals with, and I ask that You send many angels into this family's life and bring peace and strength and rest. Father, each one in Chris' family is precious to you. Bless them and guard them while their healing begins. I ask that you touch Emily, David, Craig, Amy, Jimmy, and Portia. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

((( chris ))) I am very sorry for your loss, and am lifting you and all of Pam's friends and family in prayer.

As Sharon-Marie mentioned, there is a suicide survivors thread. I pray that you will feel less alone in this walk you are on as you read through others' experiences.

Dear Father, I lift up Chris and Emily, David, Amy, Craig, Jimmy, Portia and all who loved this woman to You for Your comfort Lord. Hold them close and comfort each one. Lord there is so much that we don't understand but we look to You, who knows and understands all to fill each one with Your peace, Your strength. And we thank You for Your promises... That one day You will wipe away all tears. Help each one to draw close to You Lord and be comforted by Your presence. Thank You Lord for all You will do in this. God bless each one of you for the prayers and kind words. It's amazing. I dont have a clue where any of you are located, but God does, and he can use this web site for his glory.. To the one who made the post concerning how terrible God is. You see friend. We have our own free will. We choose our paths. My cousin for whatever reasons made decisions that she felt there was no way out. She is the one who chose that. Not God.. I'n sure God was pleading with her all the way, but again. It's our choice.. He will not force himself upon us. God didn't just take her from us, but God does take people and things from this world daily. Why? Somethings we will not have answers for in this life.. But remember this. He's God and we're not. We're human. We're not immune to sickness and death. And the situation with my cousin.. Also remember this.. No matter how good we think we are. We're one or two bad decisions away from being the worst person we could imagine. To you who made the post about our Lord.. Your going to stand in front of him one day and give an account of your life. Here's the question you'll be asked.. What did you do with Jesus? Accept his free gift of eternal life by his sacrfice on the cross for your and my sins? Because you and I are terrible terrible sinners.. Or.. Did you reject with an unbelieving heart Jesus.. You didn't want to have no part of him? It's your choice... Eternal life, or eternal separation from God where you'll spend eternity in hell where the fire and torment never cease. You sound like a smart person. Simple question to you. If given the choice would you want to live forever in peace, or burn forever in torment? Only the insane would choose the latter.. Jesus Christ loves you.. He made a way for you.. Please dont turn away from that.. I dont have a clue who you are.. God does.. I'm going to pray for you.. I said all of that out of love.. I'm not one bit better than you are anybody.. I trust Jesus for my salvation because there is no other way..

Chris, that was perfect. I wish I could say things like that.
You are so gifted to be able to communicate with others.
We're just passing through on our way to Heaven.

May God Bless you beyond measure.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. The Lord knows all those who have been touched by this and will use it for good. He always does. Bless you.

My spiritual mentor, a godly man, took his own life as well. He had struggled with a lifetime of depression. And for a moment (obviously) he thought the power of God not strong enough. Yes, that is all that it takes to make that choice. Wrong for one moment? The Lord knows. And His grace is sufficient. His keeping power was there but my mentor lost His grasp. Praise the Lord. He was there and took him home.

What a wonderful God we serve. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up the light of His countenance upon you. And give you peace. Amen.
