How do you identify yourself by your faith? For example, on Facebook, there is a blank where you can type in your "religion". What would you/did you type in there?
These days there's so much confusion over what these labels mean, and many have given them a bad rep.
As for me, I normally avoid these labels. People who know me know that I believe in the God of the Bible. As for Facebook, I think my current label is "non-practicing Christian" but that's a different story.
I would like to hear from some of you on how you deal with this issue.
You can choose more than one option.

That's a good one. I should have included that!
But, while that's accurate, it is also a very misunderstood word to the general public, wouldn't you think?

A follower of Christ. I think usage of the term "Christian" in its literal sense, should be used with with much thought. To declare one as being "Christlike" is a pretty bold statement.

I'm a Christian...and it doesn't matter how fancy the title or how edgy/cool we try to make it...the world still knows us as Christians.
And, I have no problem with that.

If(when)'they' ask I can tell them where my Hope lay. I'm not responsible for their 'accuracy or misunderstanding' I'm only responsible for my obedience and taking them to account for their disobedience not 'getting them saved'.

That's a unique combination, I don't see it too often! Although (for the sake of this thread's discussion) I usually refer to myself simply as a Christian, I too am both charismatic (in that I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit being for today) and Calvinistic (in that I believe in the sovereignty of God and the doctrines of grace).

I am a true believer.
I know a lot of people who call themselves christian who are not followers of Christ... like a club membership, they join for status, so I don't use that term so much.
I am also an anabaptist.
