Well, I suppose it's a good example of how freedom of speech is alive and well in "socialist" Britain, but on the whole I doubt anyone listening to that lot understood the point they were trying to get across -- essentially the same "New World Order" conspiracy theory nonsense that belongs in the Conspiracy folder. One quick look at the link provided on the video confirms that.
I guess it's a change from trying to scare people witless all the time, but I doubt its going to work.

The stunt is typical. What I found interesting though, was the difference in the reaction of the authorities. Try to hug a policeman in the US in a situation like that, I dare you ;). You would likely be on the ground handcuffed and bruised in moments.

Actually, if you look closer, you will see that the uniforms they hugged were all security guards and not policemen. I suspect they would have been arrested it they had tried that on the police. Even so, I think the police in the clip showed considerable forbearance. I don't know what the laws are about using megaphones (there are laws for disturbing the peace though) but it seems that the police were wise to the stunt and weren't going to get luring into overreacting.
