Oh, Abounding, I'm sad for you. What a disappointment people are. Wonder how Jesus feels? Well, we know. He just continues to love, to intercede, and be there for the hurting one. He's there for you, Abounding. But He's also there for your wife. She, obviously, has a struggle going on inside her and as I said in my earlier post, it really isn't about you. Oh sure, she said 'you haven't made her happy' but who is that statement about? It's about her.
But nonetheless, it hurts. So I'll continue to pray for you, Abounding. I am so thankful you have a prayer partner and based on the verse you shared, your pp must be a wonderful support to you. PTL!
Don't let fear creep in here. Be anxious for nothing! But in everything, including this, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving tell the Lord what you've told me and ask Him for your needs to be met. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. I'm praying His peace surrounds you, my friend. LL

One thing awesome did happen today. God really spoke to me. The Holy Spirit placed on my heart to read my devotion book I have by Chuck Swindoll. I opened it up this morning to where the book mark was and this is what it said. (PS I have been struggling with trusting God, I have allowed what my wife has done to me creep in and affect my relationship with God and everyone else.)
The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3
Disillusionment is a dangerous, slippery slope. First we become disillusioned about our fellow man. Then we move on to Cynicism. Before long, we trust no one, not even God. We've been burned. We've been taken advantage of; we've been mistreaded...
The cause of disillusionment and the cure for it can be expressed in almost the sample simple words. The cause of disillusionment is putting one's complete hope and trust in people. Putting people on a pedestal, focusing on them, finding our sercurity in them....And when the feet of clay crumble (as they surely will) total disillusionment sets in.
What's the cure? Putting our complete hope and trust in the living Lord. When we do that, the simplest message from God calm our spirits.
It brought tears of joy to know that God gave me this morning to help me. He has answered my crys for help.

Freeman44, we have been married for 6 years and we have a 3 year old son.
Soulcrushed, I listen to sermons online and I will share with her what I heard if its a good sermon. When I do my daily bible reading if I find a verse I really like I will share it with her etc etc. Just things like that.

Please pray for me I am dieing inside. This is so hard to deal with. I love my family so much. It is hard to go to work and just act like everything is ok. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME.

Abounding,
I know how hard this place is for you. I am sorry. But you must fix your eyes on Jesus (stayed upon Jehovah as the song says) or stayed on Him (as Isaiah 26:3 says) and NOT look around or think about yourself. What happened when the Israelites focused on what they 'wanted'? Their souls starved. Our minds and hearts are deceitful, Abounding, and the enemy of our souls loves to play into that deception. So take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. You are not dying. You are loved and you have His life within and He is Victor. His is an unshakable kingdom, my friend! That's why you must fix your eyes fully and completely on Him and His word not on what you see with your eyes or feel in your heart. His word is true. . . so take every thought captive, Abounding. His grace IS sufficient. He will give you the manna you need today. He is faithful. His compassions are great and His mercies new every morning.
Lord, I pray for our friend, Abounding. Rise up, O Lord, and make Yourself known to Abounding today in tangible ways so that he knows You are present with him and fighting this battle for him. Lord, I pray that Abounding will be in peace, that You will guard his heart and mind as he brings every thought to You. Lord, You know the pain we encounter as we walk through this world. You walked that path for us. Thank You, Lord.
Abounding, commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him and He will do it. And He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and forsake wrath. Do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off. But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land. (Ps 37:5-9)
He knows. The Lord is fighting for you. Rest, Abounding, and believe. Jesus is sufficient for your every need. I'm praying and believing for you, my friend, Liveloved

Absolutely, Abounding. You are loved with an everlasting love. He is holding you up right now. Believe it! Live in His reality! And remember that though others do evil to us, God means it for good. So that means EVERYTHING that happens to us and in our lives is FOR OUR GOOD! That's the difference that only our gracious Lord can perform. Evil is transformed into goodness by His power. My wife told me Tues night that she is divorcing me. She said she believes it is God's will that we divorce. She said she stopped loving me after we had only been married for 3 months. Please pray. This is so hard. I am an emotional wreck.

Oh, Abounding, my heart is breaking with you. We know it is not God's will and that she is believing the enemy's lies. But God can change her heart. So we will pray for her heart to be turned back to Him because that is the key to her turning back to you as well.

Please continue to pray for me. Pray that He will give me wisdom. Pray that He helps me emotionally and helps me to look to Him for joy and not things of the world. Pray He helps me with self confidence because I have none and that He will help me with trust. Pray also for my wife. Knowing all the things she has done and the way she has acted it is really hard for me to believe she is a christian, pray that God will open her eyes to His grace. If she is a Christian pray for repentance. Thank all of you for your prayers so far, May God richly bless you.
