Omaha Metro Prayer for November 6, 2009
Currently Governor Heineman and the Nebraska State Legislature are meeting in a special session to deliberate solutions to balance the budget, which is in a $334 million shortfall.
There will be many painful decisions to be made. Please be praying over the process, asking for creative solutions and wisdom for our state officials.
"To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.” Job 12:13 (NIV)
Because of the current economic recession, the Salvation Army has experienced 30% increase in requests for help. The Salvation Army holds the Greater Metropolitan Christmas Tree of Lights Campaign during the holidays to raise funds for various services provided to the needy.
Some of the projects are:
Christmas dinners, gifts of toys to children, gifts of warm clothes, and special parties given to children and the elderly. This ministry is important to many needy families. Pray that the Lord would greatly bless their efforts and also to raise up the needed volunteers to minister along with the Salvation Army.
“The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him--may your hearts live forever!” Ps 22:26 (NIV)
AAA Pregnancy center offers pregnant girls an 8 week series of parenting classes. All the girls who go through the class are offered a free crib upon completion.
The center is currently running very low on cribs. Please pray that every girl that needs a crib and baby supplies would get them.

which is a Omaha area group that promotes Inter-faithism and universalism
comes to know YESHUA aka JESUS in her life
PRAY also for area Rabbi's Mizrahi and Azriel and Levin and Katzman and Linder and Gross come to know YESHUA in their lives
