Whine!!

My MIL's kitty cat a Blue Russian passed away this past week, and we're all sad about her passing, but my niece (14 yrs. old) is taking it the hardest. Please be praying for my niece. The cat's name was Crayon. Crayon usually hung out around the house, but for past few days she went missing. She was the nicest and bravest kitty cat. She was an outdoor kitty, because some family members had cat allergies, but she protected my MIL's home from rodents and brought little presents to the doorstep every now and then. My SIL and my niece went all over looking for her, and even went to the local animal shelter to see if anyone had taken her there. My niece ended up finding her lifeless body behind a bush near the house toward the back gate. She was only 10 years old.

Speaking of 'puter problems.....

I'm at work, and for some very odd reason, my boss is having internet problems. His computer and my computer are networked. My internet connection is just fine. He has moments of good connection, then the next minute lagging, then no connection. I'm gonna whine because this has been going on for the past 3 weeks and every time it happens, he asks me to log off, and shut down my computer so that he could reboot the router. I keep telling him it's probably HIS computer. There has to be something wrong with the built-in ethernet in HIS computer, and it's not the router, or the connection cables because I'm not having any problems. I wish he would call his computer tech already!!!

I don't like it when people are late to church, but other than that, life is great.

Great messages, great fellowship, friendly, happy people.

GASP!!! It's ALIIIIIIIIVE!!!

I thought for sure this thread had been deleted to the eternal wastelands of cyberspace after I looked for it and could not find it!!

So...let the whining begin!!!!

WHIIIIIIIIIIINE!!

We were supposed to have our apartment unit inspected today as part of the annual re-certification process. The inspection was supposed be at 8:30 AM! We cleaned and cleaned until our arms were about to fall off. Our unit is so squeaky clean you could probably perform surgery in there.....well, okay...it's not THAT clean...but it's clean! Well the manager ended up not being able to come because she couldn't get the paperwork she needed to get the inspection done since her printer had gone belly up. SO....hubby took the day off of teaching his classes today for NOTHING, and my arms feel like two Slinkies.

my biggest whine has always been that i HATE to get up in the morning. i know it's totally trivial, but that's what whining is about, isn't it? i've always been this way - getting up for my job, getting up for my kids (who i love), getting up for church (which i also love), it's just torture for me. once i'm up and around i start to enjoy life, but those few moments between the alarm going off and my feet hitting the floor are just awful.

and my dog just doesn't understand about sleeping in on weekends.

and now i've agreed to help out in Sunday School, which happens before church.

whine, whine, whine

Today was the second time in two weeks that I saw a vehicle go from 50MPH to a dead stop at a traffic light that had been GREEN before they came to it and remained GREEN after they finally began to move again.

Both times, the driver was on a cell phone...

I whine because my brother, who has no money to spare, and can't even very well financially meet his own needs or those of his teenage daughter, was taken advantage of when he traded his pick-up in for a car that was supposed to be more economical. They did an even trade, and afterward he found out that the car was worth less than his truck--quite a bit less. It does not get good mileage, and he's pretty sure it's been wrecked, though of course the dealer didn't say so. I guess I'm only guessing here, but I think that if that dealer was confronted with what he did he would say that my brother deserved it because he didn't look up the car's value before he traded. I think that even if my brother was stupid, which he isn't, his stupidity neither forced that used car dealer to be shady nor gave him a right to be. He trusted the dealer because of a friend's recommendation.

I've had a throbbing toothache for about a week. I hadn't been to a dentist in a decade. I knew I had to get seen by one because the pain was getting worse every day. There was one dentist that my in-laws recommended me to go to, but I was hesitant to call him since he didn't take new patients and his schedule was usually packed, plus it was Saturday so I assumed their office would closed. I was thinking maybe I should wait until Monday. I said a quick prayer about what I should do. A part of me was still very hesitant for the fear of rejection, and I felt comfortable feeling like I should wait, but then I also felt a tug deep down that could be easily ignored telling me to have faith, and trust....call the dentist. So, I called, trusting the Lord that He will work things out. I got a recording of the office hours and found out they were open on Saturdays until evening. I had called during their lunch break which would be over in 15 minutes. I called them again and told them how I was referred to their office by another patient, who was my sister-in-law. Then I told them about my toothache. At first, the told me the dentist was double-booked and the earliest they could see was in another week. I knew I HAD to get something done, so I decided to take whatever date they gave me.....but after that, and being put on hold for a couple of minutes, I was told they could squeeze me in that afternoon. I went in and got an X-ray done, to find out that I needed a root canal done. Apparently, I have a cavity under my filling on my lower, left molar. There is an infection near the root and the nerve is inflamed. They prescribed me antibiotics to treat the infection, and I'm scheduled for the procedure on April 1st.

Praise the Lord that I was able to see a dentist on such short notice, and being able to get a diagnosis.

Whine about my tooth,...it's still throbbing.

Whine:

The women at work first say that I need to get faster even though I make rate and then when I go over rate they ask me to slow down because they don't want rate to be increased.

yikes.

The "I'm just going to ignore you" sticking fingers in the ears and saying na-na-na-na-na-na is a much better and far more mature approach.
