I have been playing with my new camera. With a 2 gig SD card and the highest JPEG setting I can take 400 pictures before I have to change the card. I may have to change the battery pack though.

But the nice thing about that is...you can shoot a hundred for practially nothing on digital and eliminate on the spot what you don't like. No wasted prints etc. It's great.

I got some good news yesterday. One of my pictures has been chosen to be in the Wichita Botanica Show this winter. I will put it up as an avatar later on.

My sister called me tonight with news that my uncle has passed away. He was my mother's brother. I have only one aunt still living.
I have realized that my cousins, my sister and I are now the older generation.
