Thanks Pammy and FB.

I will get paid in full for any unused vacation ( I have about 120 hours) and if I have over 1000 hours of sick leave I will get paid for 360 hours.

I have two more PT sessions for my shoulder problem (stretched rotator cuff) and a dentist visit. I plan on keeping the sick leave at just over the 1000 hour limit.

*does math*

That's 3 months of pay :)

A nice retirement bonus.

Tina, 120 hours is 3 weeks. (Still nice, though!)

I get the same deal for vacation leave. But for sick leave, the time is added to my length of service for annuity calculation purposes. I don't have a lot, just a few hundred hours, compared to many. I know people who have thousands.

And that is added to the regular retirement check (actually direct deposit) I will be getting each month.

I would be extremely happy for you except I am depressed over the current results of Tennessee basketball games.

Twice (at least). I am on the record as sayign firing Fulmer was a big mistake.

And I will feel that way no matter how successful Kiffin is.

LOL

Training begins Monday for two weeks on the new software system. Since I won't be using it I will not be in the training. I will be catching up on all the final details of what I have to do before I leave.

That's right Terri, only 4 and a half more days. My section took me to lunch at Olive Garden today. I had the Tuscan Garlic Chicken. It was good and I am full.

BTW. Welcome back.

Are you officially retired? Now you can do those things you only dream of while you were stuck working..

Very enjoyable. I slept in until 7:45 am, had a leisurely breakfast, did some laundry ran some errands and went to a baseball game in 32 degree weather.

I don't think it will really hit me for a couple of weeks that I am actually retired. Today felt like a regular day off.

I was kidding in the other thread about Kansas.

They are my favorite Big 12 team, which isn't quite the honor it sounds.

When my favorites are eliminated (Tennessee and Gonzaga) I root for the underdog - Villanova.
