Great! In my imagination. No, seriously, I was just looking at it last week...I'd hoped to make some for the aforementioned trip, but I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope my dealer is there. I'm trying to come up with some sort of signature liquor, it's kind of a thing people do, there...does Malibu go well with watermelon? quote:
Is this the last bastion for those who've lost interest in posting anywhere else on these forums? Yes. But, first you have to get up on stage and sing something by Journey.

I'm thinking malibu and watermelon would be pretty sweet, but it's a question of taste. let me know how it goes if you try it.

What's camping without a fire? You might as well sleep in your car outside Walmart for a few days. Matthew 22:34-40 RSV 34 When the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together, 35 and one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 "Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?" 37 He said to him, " "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Obviously these two things are connected and are the short answer, the whole point, but Jesus did consider them to be separate things. I've always had the feeling that the Pharisees were expecting the first one, but the second one was the slightly uncomfortable surprise. Jesus has such great subtext.

What about those propane camping stoves? It's no campfire, but it does get you coffee.

poverty exhortation giving faith writing encouragement discernment wisdom teaching I found the the celibacy questions amusing. Usually discernment and wisdom tops my list. I've never done one where you could have a gift of poverty before.

once I finally got past that make a donation page, I started answering the questions, and when I got to the "people always come to you with blah blah blah" I stopped, read thru the rest of it, but decided any result would probably not be helpful, and I already know very well -from that list- what my gifts are. hmmm spiritual gift is synonymous with character traits

I don't know...maybe it's the way they worded it but I would never write that someone ALWAYS comes to me for advice, is healed by me, is taught by me, is encouraged by me. Maybe its the Quaker in me but that just seems full of yourself.

(I don't know why I am but) I am surprised, often, at the tones of people's posts, when giving opinions on someone's situations. If I had the power to pray over someone and affect them, I sure would pray for some quiet over some people... quote:
spiritual gift is synonymous with character traits I know, right? Like I said in the other thread, of course I'm good at hospitality. My mom is a Southern sweetheart to the core, AND an officer's wife. Our guest room was decorated in pineapples, for cryin' out loud (symbol of welcome).

Totally over-commercialized but this looks interesting. Voting for the new 7 wonders of the world (the pyramids of Giza got a free ride so reallly voting for the 6 new wonders of the world). I voted for: the temple at Angkor the great wall of China Machu Piccu the Colliseum the statues of Easter Island the Taj Mahal and the Statue of Liberty I was down to the Taj mahal, The Kremlin/Red Square, and the Statue of Liberty and it was a tough decision. It was also interesting to see how many of the 7 wonders of the ancient world I remembered (@4).

What's wrong with the old ones? Weren't they all natural? Some of these, not so wonder-full. Great architecture, and real purty, but... Easter Island Timbuktu Stonehenge Machu Picchu were the only ones I felt strongly about. Definately more interesting than pick a new M&M color!
