To tell you the truth, I can read it out loud, and I still don't have any of it memorized word for word.
Reading it is certainly beneficial in its own right, but there is a way to get it memorized that I use very frequently. I read a phrase, then look away while I say it. I read another phrase, then I look away while I say that. When I do that every time, I'm surprised at how much I can soon say without looking so much....
