A small practice that has strengthened your faith

Lately I’ve been thinking about how faith grows through small habits over time — not just big moments.

What is one small daily practice that has strengthened your relationship with God?

I’d love to hear what has made a difference for you.

Hello Ellenvera. I know my answer is going to sound simplistic; however, it is true. God wants to have a relationship with you.

“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in his name, them He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” {John 1:12–13}

You received, and became?

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” {Romans 8:15}

Because you are a Child of God now??

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” {Galatians 4:6}

Abba Father??? Think Daddy. That’s right. You now have the right to boldly walk into the very Throne Room of God, The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Is All, and the Great I Am, and ask Him whatsoever you choose. He wants you to see Him as Daddy. He wants to be your Father.

Spend time with Him. Read the Word. Pray. Spend time with fellow believers. Before you know it, your faith will be growing, and the cares of this world will be fading.

I know this answer is obvious, but silent prayer will get you through pretty much anything.
