Are We Seeing a True Revival in the Wake of Charlie Kirk's Murder?

Something’s definitely stirring right now… but I keep asking myself—what kind of fruit will it bear?

Scripture doesn’t measure revival by headlines or emotional waves. It measures it by repentance, obedience, and holiness. When Josiah heard the Word of the Lord, he tore his clothes and led a nation back to covenant (2 Kings 22–23). That’s revival.

But then…I think about how Erika Kirk, when speaking at Charlie’s memorial service, chose to forgive the man who took her husband’s life.

It’s inspiring to see how her choice has rippled outward. Tim Allen is trending in the news this morning, saying that Erika’s words gave him the strength to finally forgive the man who killed his father years ago.

That’s the fruit I pray comes from this moment.

Because real revival won’t just trend. It’ll transform. It’ll draw hearts to the cross, not just to causes.
