Sometimes the shortest Bible verses are the ones I find easiest to carry with me throughout the day. A few of my favorites are:

“God is our refuge and strength.” Psalm 46:1
“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

I saw the title of your post and was going to say “We love because he first loved us,” but you already included it! That was the one that came to my mind right away.
