Churchianity and its teachers

How many do you think are being led by the Spirit?

@BobEstey im still waiting to find a preacher who follows the spirit. Paul said in the last days that people would no longer endure sound doctrine but they would follow teachers instead.

I don’t think you are going to find a perfect pastor. It’s back to what I said before - my church has faults, in my opinion, but I try to set a good example.

@BobEstey

I dont think a pastor who fails to teach the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth is acceptable. Do you?

I don’t think you’ll find a perfect pastor.

@BobEstey that because Paul prophesied that in the last days preachers would tickle people’s ears instead of preaching the truth. He said people would no longer follow sound doctrine but would follow these teachers instead. Are you comfortable with this situation?

We are not to be of the world. We are to be of the Kingdom of God. I am amazed at the evil I’ve seen transpire over the last 10 years. Can you believe they are performing sex change operations on children?

While you are focused on sex changes the republicans and democrats are leading the church astray by teaching them to be rich, and to worry, complain, argue, and boast in the economy. This is sin.

The Republican Party opposes sex change operations on children, transgenderism, Pride events, and the like. No one is teaching anyone to be rich. Arguing is necessary when you are dealing with people who favor sex change operations on children, and things like that.

When Republicans are rich and claim to follow Christ then they are teaching people to be rich by their example. Its the same with rich preachers. And Republicans and democrats are leading the church astray with their economic complaints, worries, arguing and boasting

When people work hard, they get make a lot of money. Should they stop working hard?

@BobEstey I think they should work to help others instead of building a huge bank account or live in luxury and excess

It’s good to help those who need help. As for those able-bodied people who aren’t willing to help themselves:

For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: If any one will not work, let him not eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 RSV

@BobEstey

Yes, its true that able bodied persons in the church must work for their own food. But that doesn’t mean that every church has enough wealth. The Bible also said to feed our enemies and do good for them. There is no excuse for Christians to be rich when 9 million people die each year of hunger and malnutrition related diseases and go without shelter, clothing and medical care.

I don’t remember the Bible telling us to feed our enemies. Jesus said to love our enemies.

Romans 12:**17 **Repay no one evil for evil. Have[e] regard for good things in the sight of all men. **18 **If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. **19 **Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. **20 **Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

**21 **Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What happens to the taxes Elon Musk pays?

@BobEstey God is our supplier not Elon Musk. Im not concerned about taxes.

But you judge Elon Musk for being rich.

@BobEstey

You judge homosexuals for being gay
