Please pray that God has his way with this custody battle and that he puts in place what he knows is right for my son as I do not have all the right answers. May he put in place visitation that he knows will work in the favor of my son. Thank you.
Mother doesn’t usually share custody until baby is 2 yrs due to the demands of breastfeeding every 3/4 hours. There may be preset, short multi-hour visitations, which are usually inconvenient for both. It is generally best for parents to work out their own schedule, that is agreed upon by both and be more flexible.
Now let’s get to the real issues. Even if people really can’t get along for whatever reason, having an unbiased, third party (Court) involved seems easier at first, but over the years gets tiring. After both parents see the beauty of raising a child and realize that child is affected by the ungodly attitiudes between parents, the emotional damage is hard to undo.
Children deserve to be raised by God-loving parents; these cases are hard on families.
Yes, unfortunately when dealing with someone who works 15 hour shifts six days a week and still wants 50/50 for a 5 month old things become difficult. If only everyone thought like a normal logical human being. At this point it’s in Gods hands I’m not fighting anyone for anything. God will appoint the judge he sees best to deal with this case and they will call the shots.
