With all respect, @anon20701957, are you struggling to read what is right in front of you, or are you choosing not to? It is a common problem, but it needs to be named plainly.

maybe I know better maybe you don’t
I thought the “you” in that post intended any general “you” who did hate a given group, in this case, anyone who did hate JWs, not the author of the starting post. Was I wrong?
if you find your self with hated against those that follow Jesus ya may want to consider something Jesus said at Mark 13:13.“And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved” ………..ya could be standing against Jesus ,not for him.
you could even consider it a sign to show who Jesus is really happy with
They king of have a problem in that the person who wrote their basic textbooks of the Bible is passed away. It’s alright, but they didn’t actually write their studies, and the publishers are kinda…I dunno. They have nice books, but they’re not the original authors of them. They’re a touch less able to discuss and engage in reason and dialogue than I think they think they are, and don’t always seem able to grasp the fact that their manuscripts are actually only theological opinions, so they get confused between the Bible and its commentaries. But so firs absolutely everyone else….religion has a lot of Greek fire and passion of the cross moments in it.
Just a thought, we do not run to commentaries to unlock the Scriptures, we open the Word itself, we read it, we weigh it, we let passages like ~Acts 17:11 and ~2 Timothy 2:15 and ~Psalm 119:130 and ~John 17:17 set the rhythm of our study, then after the text has spoken and after we have prayed through it and wrestled with it, only then do we hold certain commentaries in an open hand and test their claims against what the Scriptures already proclaim with clarity and authority.
“Sanctify them through thy truth:” (hagiason autous en te aletheia) “Sanctify them in and by means of the truth.” Sanctify means to set apart or consecrate as sacred or holy, from profane use, to make sacred or holy and set apart for holy or sacred service; This sanctification is said to be by faith in Jesus Christ, Act_26:18; by the Word, Eph_5:26; 2Th_2:13.
“Thy word is truth.” (ho logos ho sos aletheia estin) “Your word is truth,” not only true but also truth in essence of existence, without error, Psa_119:160-161; Heb_4:12; 2Ti_3:16-17. His Word is truth, as a rule and guide for life and to salvation, Psa_119:151; Joh_18:37-38; Act_20:32.

Luke 9:62 is a Bible verse where Jesus states, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God,” meaning true discipleship requires total, forward-focused commitment, leaving the past behind, much like a farmer must focus ahead to plow straight rows, not get distracted by what’s behind, or the field will be crooked. It’s about undivided attention and readiness to follow Christ without hesitation or returning to old ways.
