Yes, I believe society has become too reactive. Opinions have gained too much weight. Stating an opinion is like making a declaration of war. Tell the wrong person, and you are dead to them. If the other person does not agree with you, then they become dead to you.
All people are fallible and can make a mistake. And standing on opposite sides of an argument should not end a relationship or our capacity to work together and live peacefully.
