I’ve always liked but seen issues with social media, here are some thoughts I had to a post “hardest pill i’ve had to swallow was realizing i don’t play an important roll in a lot of the people’s lives who play one in mine”
Don’t rip yourself up over it, it’s one of the things I do to myself. Social media has made it easy to connect to people but changed a big part of how we stayed connected. It was different then when it was just bells, lighthouses and smoke signals, or mail, then mail and phone and now those things + social media. Now it’s instant to connect to those far off. Take advantage of that and do what you can. That said, with it being so instant it can be overwhelming, at least for me and maybe for you the same. Life is demanding and people also but understand the better you are the better you can be for them. Even more that that though is looking for people who don’t play a part in yours but how you can play a part in theirs, that’s something that will make you even stronger which will impact those who are in your life.The Mrs. just made a point to me because we are discussing social media right now and she say’s she don’t have strangers on her FB. We had an issue of her getting death threats on her birthday a few years back and I see her point there so that just takes me to my dislikes with social media as a whole though.
