Financial Worries

Dear Lord, through deep grief and depression I find myself financially destroyed. I worry about it day and night. Please walk beside me as I make decisions to try and rectify the situation. I know as always, I need to trust your plans and timing for me and lay my worries at your feet. In Christ name I pray. Amen.

Dear sister,

Would you beleive me if I told you worrying was a sin? Read Matthew 6:25-34 and understand he longs for your trust.
I understand your fear more than most. Before jail I made $200g /yr and was so far from God hell was a local call. Now all I ever had or owned has been stolen and i face life in prison for a crime I did not commit. After all is gone and you are broken then God can really use you. Rejoice sister and prepare to find purpose through our savior!

I agree, Matthew 6:25-34 may give you some comfort. Also, this parable is from Jesus Himself.

“And He said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.’ Then He spoke a parable to them, saying:

‘The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, [and] be merry.

But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

So [is] he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:15-21

Trust God. Pray, listen, and follow whatever you hear Him say.
