“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Some people view prayer as more sacred than anything else, a complex process that requires skill and knowledge. But that’s not true. All we need to do is follow Jesus’ example. God already knows what you are going to say before you speak.
God is your Father. He is there when you wake up. He is there whether you eat breakfast or not. Shower and get ready? He is with you. Go out the door? He is with you. Work, school, or play? He is with you. It is not a part-time thing, only on Sunday at church, or an idea. He is with us always—in everything, at all times. He is there. He is God.
