hi... i'm completely lost... and heartbroken

hello…

i am writing today , asking for prayer for my 18 yr old daughter. the last 4 years of her life have been very difficult.. she’s experienced with vaping, smoking marijuana, drinking, and of course things i may not know about. i had custody of her but she wanted to live with her dad, due to him and his wife having “lax” rules and pretty much letting her do what she wanted. the result is now her living a destructive life, and not wanting the help she so desperately needs.

i am a diabetic - type 2- and the stress and worry this is causing me is wreaking havoc on my health and at times i just want to give up. i also have a husband whos fighting a court case, innocence based, and the impurities in the justice system are also taking a toll. i feel lost and absolutely mentally/emotionally defeated.

please, if anyone can please pray for my daughter and my husband (whom i’ve known for 35 years), i would be so grateful.

I am sorrey that your daughter has allowed herself to be .ead astray by a pleasure centered lifestyle.
IF she is not living with you and not in regular contact there is little you can do other than to asure her of your love and pray for her.

Wo questions that are useful tools.
To ask, ’ What do you believe about,? And the follow up,
What evidence do you have for that belief?
The point is to let her talk about what she does or does not belief about God, Jesus, Christianity, religion, faith etc and then to get her to prove that her beliefs are valid rather than wishful thinking.
Just be sure that you can also answer those questions.
