Dear Lord I give you all that i have. I seek love and kindness for myself and my children. The world has become cruel and dark and we are afraid We are a small family that needs love and devotion from the world. A father/husband has lost his way and I pray for his healing. We struggle financially, spiritually. He has become a dark person. My children need to feel safe. The world has been cruel to both but especially one. We need that resolved with kindness and appropriate action. I am old and weary from all that has been thrown at me. My future is my children’s safety and lives. In God I pray for forgiveness and hope. Amen.

Sister, I don’t know your situation but I recognize your language. I nearly lost 2 of my children to darkness, one is still on the cusp of darkness and light. Please, find shelter. Go to a local church and ask for help, for shelter, for direction. It’s a hard thing to do but I’m strongly suggesting you do. I know how hard this is because I’ve done it.
Just remember, you are not alone in this. HE is right there. Reach out to Him. Lean into Him. Trust in Him. Surrender to Him. He WILL answer you, only it might not be the answer you’re hoping or praying for. But trust in Him. It isn’t always a straight and direct path or answer but sometimes it’s SO direct that it’s mind-boggling.
