# How can we respond with faith to the Feather River Adventist School shooting tragedy?

Hi,

Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. KJV

It is of the highest honor to be worthy of persecution. Change your perspective and see if you find faith.

The same way we respond to shootings in secular schools. Do nothing but vomit up “thoughts and prayers” and refuse to deal with the real issue: lack of gun restrictions. Attacks on Christian schools is not special or worse than attacks on any other building full of children.
