How's everyone doing right now as we get closer to the end of 2025...what can we pray for?

Just checking in. I know it’s only November but I’m starting to reflect on 2025 and what this year has been like. There’s been so much good and bad throughout. But I just wanted to share some things God kinda “highlighted” in my prayers this year:

When tragedy occurs, look toward the folks who are helping. Learn to do as they do….by doing the next right thing.

Be honest with yourself and don’t let others have a say in who you are.

Trust in Him. Because He knows your heart and He knows when to open and close doors in your life.

I appreciate the way you framed the end of the year with a lens toward noticing patterns rather than trying to force a narrative over the whole year. There’s always been something grounding about zooming in on the “next right thing”, because that’s usually the only piece any of us ever actually have in hand.

One thing I’ve been reflecting on is how often Scripture points to small obedience in ordinary days. Most of the parables aren’t about big dramatic leaps, they’re about steady faithfulness in the middle of daily life.

And your note about keeping identity rooted in Him feels timely, too. It’s easy to take on other people’s labels without realizing we’ve done it.

I’m grateful for the reminder to end the year with quiet attention, and to let God define where the real weight is, instead of whatever noise happens to be loud around us.
