I can honestly say I fear God and it keeps me from sinning.

Because he loves us, he disciplines us when we need it.

I can attest to the discipline.

But I don’t fear Him.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
a good understanding have all those who practice it.

Perhaps I should have said respect and awe. I think the common interpretation of " fear " is misunderstood.

Or im being presumptuous.

Ineed, i respect and in awe , But even those words are insuffient.
