I think that’s where the Christian rock bands came from too. Some people are all into sex-drugs-rock n’ roll would never go to church or sing a bible hymn. But they will allow Jesus is just alright with me play, perhaps even over and over? This is how Jesus gets His foot in the door so perhaps they will hear Him in their spirit.
I’ve watched Skillet’s music vids and they’re pretty good. But I noticed that some decidedly not Christian rock bands have inserted certain lyrics into the music which does seem to point to the Lord. Like smash mouth, remember them? Walking on the Sun?
