You’re not alone in this struggle, and it’s so brave of you to speak up. The fact that you want freedom is already the Spirit at work in you. God’s mercy is bigger than any habit or shame.
Keep confessing it to Him daily, lean on His Word, and ask for accountability with a trusted believer. Philippians 1:6 promises, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”
Here’s a prayer that might help:
“Lord, give me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Strengthen me to resist temptation, and teach me to seek You first when I’m weak. Replace my desires with a longing for Your holiness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
You’re loved, forgiven, and never beyond God’s power to make new.
