We always hear there’s power in prayer which is very true. Now, what are we praying about? What are we praying for and are we being realistic within ourselves? We also have heard we have not because we didn’t ask. Finding Gods purpose in our lives and aligns ourselves within Gods will is a powerful move into a spiritual breakthrough. In which I feel is a major component to a positive powerful prayer life along with consistency.
I really appreciate this perspective. I believe prayer is not only about bringing our requests before God, but also about allowing Him to shape our hearts and align our desires with His will. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough is not immediately receiving the answer we expected, but gaining the wisdom, peace, patience, or direction to walk through what God has placed before us.
Jesus Himself gave us a beautiful example when He prayed, “Not my will, but thine, be done.” — Luke 22:42. That kind of surrender doesn’t mean we stop asking boldly; it means we trust God enough to leave the outcome in His hands.
I also agree that consistency matters. Prayer isn’t something we turn to only when everything falls apart—it is a relationship with God that we nurture through every season. “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
And perhaps one of the most important questions we can ask is not only, “Lord, will You give me this?” but also, “Lord, what are You trying to teach me, and how can my life serve Your purpose?” When our hearts begin to seek Him above the answer itself, I believe our prayer life becomes much deeper.
May we all learn to pray with boldness, humility, discernment, and complete trust in the One who knows what we need even before we ask. ![]()

Thank you for that. Within a relationship, we need communication and that’s what God desires from us. Communication having communication with the father is very important.
The apostle Paul taught us to pray constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). In other words, we should never stop praying. We talk to God about everything.
