I will have a lung biopsy in a couple of weeks to see if a nodule is cancerous. Prayers that the nodule is benign.
That’s a scary thing to be facing. I was just reading in 2 Thessalonians this morning how the people there were growing in their faith and in there love for each other even though they faced many trials and persecution. Paul was commending them and thanking God for them. It’s when we are facing some trial that our faith is tested and God’s purpose is that our faith grows because of it. That doesn’t mean we’re not worried or scared. It’s normal to be concerned and He wants us to take that worry to Him as you’re doing.
Lord God
I asked that you would give bsdurkin everything they need in this hour to trust in you completely. Grant to them the blessing of a strong faith that gives peace in this circumstance. I also ask for your hand in this to bring about good results and the end of worry. In Jesus mighty name, I ask. Amen
