Several Family members are holding grudges. I apologized for not correcting someone who said things that offended my wife but the past is constantly being brought up like five or six years later. I tend to harbor resentment as well towards some people. Other relatives of mine are resenting/hating others for what happened almost 30 years ago.
It’s so hard when the past keeps resurfacing. Have you found anything in Scripture that’s helped you move forward with peace and grace?
Heavenly Father, I pray that this family will experience your unconditional love that will lead them to forgiving themselves and each other. May they experience reconciliation and love for one another. It may just start with one person and whoever that person is that you have chosen, may their light shine as they demonstrate the love & character of Christ that will flow into the heart of other family members.
