Happy Birthday Jesus!
I thank God for His most precious gift from above to mankind, His son Jesus. Lord you know how my mother’s faith and my faith as a believer in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and the redemptive work on Calvary’s Cross continues to be tested in unspeakable ways and how bitterness, anger, resentfulness, jealousy, deceit, emotional manipulation, pure evil and blasphemy that has taken up residence in the hearts of my two siblings who reject Salvation through Jesus Christ has caused great harm and suffering to our vulnerable parent diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and how my siblings deep hatred and jealousy towards their sister to the extent of threatening, when I have made efforts to extend an olive branch for the sake of peace to honor God as a Christian and to honor our mother who has always been a God fearing peaceful women that has helped so many people in her life especially her three children. Lord I ask that you remove the coldness and layers of callousness from the hearts of my siblings that has only grown over years and replace it with your unconditional love, a burning desire for eternal salvation along with a sense of deep remorse and a strong conviction for the pure hell they have unleashed on our family that has directly targeted our mother and me their sister. I thank you, lord, for watching over my mother and I and for blessing me with a saved supportive and caring husband who remains my rock and loves and honors his mother in law by his many actions, who unfortunately is also despised out of jealousy by my toxic siblings. I also thank you for the Godsent church you allowed me to find that is located near the nursing home where my mother was placed without my knowledge and my sibling is preventing my husband and I from visiting our mother. To further complicate matters and because my husband and I reside in another state, this amazing church through their outreach ministry to the sick and shut in and those in nearby nursing homes - the leadership and the saints who faithfully serve in their Missionary Circle Ministry consistently visits my mother to have sweet fellowship with prayer, gospel hymns, breaking bread by preparing home cooked meals for her, sharing words of encouragement, checking on my mother’s well being, celebrating special occasions with her on my behalf and giving her thoughtful gifts, sending me pictures and videos segments revealing the joy I see when they are with my mother and connecting with her daughter out of a love for Jesus, warms my heart in spite of the less than ideal circumstances. Lord, only you can meet all the different needs that each of my family members struggle with including me. I pray that salvation is still an option for unsaved family members who have hardened their hearts just as Pharaoh did in Exodus and that you restore my mother’s faith and mine because our spirits are growing weary and getting tired of fighting this long battle and I will need renewed strength to fight the next battle heading to court. Bless the lives of those who have extended kindness, joy and a sense of hope during very difficult moments as I know it was you who sent them.
