Sitting At The Feet Of Jesus

Greetings in the Lord To Everyone

I’m using Martha and Mary as an example of two people serving and Jesus loved them both because HE saw their hearts.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus requires love, faith, trust, and commitment to HIM. But only God can put that desire in the hearts of people, and when HE does then it requires a decision. Now some people will choose Martha’s way of doing, and that’s okay, and others will choose Mary’s way,and that’s okay too. God wants us to serve HIM with a willing, loving, faithfill, trusting, obedient heart with an attitude of thanksgiving.

We are NOT to compare ourselves with others because each of our walks with the Lord is different. Our journeys and experiences with HIM are different. Our backgrounds and cultures are different, but it is the same God who will cause each of us to have Victory through Christ Jesus if Jesus is your Savior and Lord and to whosoever will call on the name of Jesus. God’s Mercies are new every day for those who receive it by Faith.

God made people of different colors, cultures, and languages. He is the Creator and people need to settle that in their hearts and get over the differences and do what HE said to do which is to PRAY for ALL people (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

Luke 10:38-42 New International Version At the Home of Martha and Mary

As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me. Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

I fell in love with Jesus because HE laid down His precious life for me. He was mocked, scorned, talked about, laughed at, criticized, ostracized, misunderstood, beaten, and nailed to the cross. He went through all of that for me and whosoever would believe in HIM. His Blood was not shed in vain it’s on the Mercy Seat in Heaven for whosoever will call on HIS Name, Jesús. Here is just 2 Scriptures on the power of HIS Blood: Ephesians 1:7 In HIM we have redemption through HIS Blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of HIS grace. Hebrews 9:11-12…"He entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by HIS own Blood, having obtained Eternal Redemption.

God gave me a desire to sit at Jesus’s feet and it’s a blessing and a privilege. Now I have had earthly problems, setbacks, disappointments, discouragments, two marriages that didn’t make it, but the Lord has been with me through it all. I have had HIS favor, shown HIS lovingkindness, HIS divine help and HIS blessing along the way,HIS way of letting me know that truly HE’s been with me.

Now hear me with understanding, I don’t have all the things I would like to have, have not been to places I would like to go, and have never had a good godly man for companionship in my life but I have HIM/JESUS which is far better then things. HE has provided for me, and HE has kept me through it all (Thank You Jesus). It truly is a fight of Faith, but it’s us together in HIS Faithfulness.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus is an honor, blessing, and privilege.

Blessings to you all in Jesus name, amen
