Please pray that I able abide in Christ the way He desires and the Lord restores me.
Abiding When You Feel Broken: A Word for the Weary
To the one who asked for prayer to abide in Christ as He desires and to be restored by the Lord:
You are not forgotten. You are not disqualified. You are not too far gone.
John 15:4 says,
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.”
This is not a command meant to crush you but a call filled with mercy. Jesus does not summon you to abide without giving the grace and power to do so. The Helper, the Holy Spirit, has been sent to dwell in you, to strengthen, to comfort, and to restore.
Isaiah 57:15 speaks directly to this moment:
“For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ‘I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.’”
If you are broken and asking, then you are exactly where grace meets you.
John 6:37 is your banner:
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.”
He receives. He holds. He does not cast off those who come again with trembling.
You were bought with blood. The cross of Christ was not given to make restoration difficult. The Spirit of God intercedes even now, Romans 8:26, with groanings deeper than words. The same Lord who began a good work in you will bring it to completion, Philippians 1:6.
Come again. Speak to Him. Cry out. He restores your soul, Psalm 23:3.
He is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with great joy, Jude 1:24.
You are His. You are not beyond restoration.
You are called to abide and empowered to abide.
You are loved by the One who conquered death to bring you near.
No more fear. No more shame. Abide today.
Always here and shalom to you and family.
Johann.
