I’ve been taking 150 mg of Lyrica three times a day for neuropathy pain the nurse practitioner made me go cold turkey Friday evening and gave me gabapentin 100 mg twice a day now I’ve been having withdrawals for 3 days now I had to beg for the Lyrica back but I only got it until I see the doctor tomorrow morning right now I can’t sleep to much pain and withdrawal symptoms I asked for a ambulance but the doctor wanted pme to wait it out until she can see me I live in a nursing home I’m bed bound I have COPD, heart failure, anemic,pre diabetic,low blood platelets, fatty liver on oxygen level 3 that’s just the physical side I’m bipolar 1, PTSD, panic attacks, agrophobia

@Butterfly63, I am so deeply sorry for the agony you are going through right now. What you are experiencing, both the physical withdrawal and the heavy weight of all your illnesses, is overwhelming, and it is completely understandable that you feel distressed.
If you are asking, ‘Why do we have to suffer?’, please know a few things from God’s heart tonight:
God is not punishing you. We live in a broken world where our bodies groan under disease and pain (Romans 8:22), but your suffering is not a sign that God is mad at you or has forgotten you in that bed.
God accepts your raw pain. You don’t have to put on a brave face for Him. The Bible is filled with people like Job and David who cried out, '*“How long, Lord? I am exhausted and in pain!” Jesus Himself wept and felt deeply overwhelmed in His body before the cross. He understands physical agony and terror.
He is near to you in the dark. Psalm 34:18 promises that “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.” Even when you can’t feel Him through the haze of withdrawal and pain, He is right there beside you.
What happened with your medicine was unfair and caused a severe shock to your system. Please hold on tight tonight, pray raw, honest prayers to Him, even if it’s just repeating His name, and speak openly with your doctor asap so they can fix your medications and bring you relief. You are seen, loved, and not alone.
