What scripture did you turn to help you cope when you lost something you thought you couldn’t live without ?

Welcome to the community, @1.savage! I’m really glad you reached out here. Losing something (or someone) we felt we couldn’t live without is incredibly painful, and it’s completely understandable to look for comfort in Scripture during times like that.
One verse that has helped me in seasons of loss is Psalm 34:18:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
It reminded me that God wasn’t distant from my pain. He was right there with me.
Another verse that helped me trust again was Isaiah 41:10:
“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”
Different passages speak to us at different times, but these two have been anchors for me when I felt like I couldn’t see a way forward.
Praying you feel God’s comfort and nearness in whatever you’re going through.
