Yes, God is an on time God. Yes, God gives us what we need. But do we know what we need? Do we know where our Lord leads?
There is this song I adore. It goes like this-
“Sometimes He calms the storm
With a whispered peace be still
And He can settle any sea
But it doesn’t mean He will
Sometimes He holds us close
And lets the wind and waves go wild
Sometimes He calms the storm
And other times He calms His child…”
There are times when God asks us to stretch beyond our comfort zones- to heal wounds, to face corruption, to seek justice. To restore peace.
There are times when God asks us to go alone. With Him. He calls us to go to far off lands, to step on to the water next to Him. To do something no man has done before.
There are times when God asks us to live for Him. To let go of a selfish desire and let His Power, His Spirit, move through us. To say a kind word to a lost soul, or to speak knowledge only God knows.
There are times when we must let go. Of a person. Or a place. That we love so much. Because it is time.
But God carries us through. No other person will be at your side, but Christ will be.
We can go through trials and tribulations.
But when we come through we will have a knowing we did not have before. And because we have come through, we can tell others they will too.
I have seen God move. I know God loves me. Just as I know God loves you, sees you, and wants your best good. Do not be afraid. You will be where God wants you to be. He has a plan for your life that no man knows. And as a good shepherd guides, the Lord will lead you. By every nudge and hold. And call you to Him.
