God Almighty, this family needs steady income and benefits to sustain a stable life. Lord, I’ve witnessed your strong arm of provision in my life during difficult and frightening times. Therefore my heart stands in proxy with them. Give them peace and faith that will get them through to success. Please make a way for them soon. - In Jesus name

Losing a job is so tough. I’m sorry you are dealing with that. Praying the Lord leads you to a new position that is even better than your last one and something you can thrive in.

I can tell you a testimony of mine when I was in dire straights financially one time. I’ve almost always been self employed and when the slow season sets in (from right before Christmas until after tax time), the big companies get slow and lay people off, and small companies (like mine) would be scratching to pay bills and eat. I read in scripture we do not need to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear because He knows our needs before we ask Him…I also read that scripture says that we should be tithing. (I already couldn’t afford to tithe!) But I was also pursuing the Lord as a new Christian so when it said it is ok to test God about tithing and see if He will not open the flood gates of heaven upon you…Ok so let’s do this I decided. I already knew that I would have to do it behind my wife’s back, I mean that I couldn’t let my left hand know what my right hand was doing, lol. It was easy because I was self employed and collect charges COD, so I got used to cashing the check on the way home from the job and swing by my church on my way home which is always open and has lock boxes standing all the place with envelopes and all that stuff, conveinant. One was very near the front door! So it was easy, and you know women, when I got home and handed her the rest of the cash, she didn’t even read invoices unless a problem ever arose (she was my secretary) and if I had money to hand her, she was good for that day. This went on for several months, and I paid tithes on every job.

Was the flood gates of heaven opened to me? I can not it it was not. Slow season and a big job comes in. !! Sometimes I’d get my one job for the day, do it, tithe it…and not even get out of the church parking lot to go home before my phone was ringing with more work! It was, to say the least proof that God’s word is true. I learned very quickly that I can’t afford Not to pay tithes! So I have continued to pay tithes until this day. I’m retired now so my tithe is my gross SS check and an offering to accompany it.

I did some moving around and so don’t have a church in my new town yet so many times I pay my tithes directly to the poor on he street. It takes away some of the red tape to apply for cash help to a church that they would need to go through. Jesus said give to the poor and I didn’t see anything that said tithes can’t go directly to them in scripture, so my tithes and offerings allow me to help the poor directly and boy is there a lot of them! Nevertheless, Brother, I have prayed for you that if the Lord gives you a job, that you will strive to pay tithes on it. You can’t pay a tithe with pay check! You’ll get a job quick.

The Lord seems to be last minute never late with me, lol. True! Bless you and your Family, Brother. I hope this helps you.
